Introducing JACE Cellars: A Friendship, A Passion, A Mountain

For nearly 20 years, SoNapa Grille has been dedicated to one mission: bringing the very best of Sonoma County and Napa Valley to our guests.

Along the way, we've visited vineyards, shared meals with winemakers, tasted thousands of wines, and built relationships throughout wine country. We've always dreamed about one day creating a wine that reflected not only our passion for wine but also the friendships and values that built SoNapa Grille.

Today, we're proud to announce that dream has become a reality.

Welcome to JACE Cellars.

What's In a Name?

JACE isn't just a winery name. It's our story.

The name JACE comes from the first names of Joe, Adam, Chris, and Eddie—business partners, wine enthusiasts, and, most importantly, lifelong friends.

Over the years, our friendship has been strengthened through shared experiences, countless bottles of wine, and a common belief that great hospitality is about bringing people together. JACE Cellars was created to honor that friendship and the journey we've been on together.

Every bottle represents the people behind it and the values that have guided SoNapa Grille from the beginning: trust, quality, craftsmanship, and connection.

Finding the Right Winemaker

Creating a wine label wasn't something we wanted to rush.

It took nearly two decades before we found the right partner to help bring our vision to life.

That partner is Doug Hackett, the acclaimed winemaker behind Spicy Vines and Pine Mountain Vineyard. Doug's commitment to quality, small-lot production, and vineyard-driven winemaking perfectly aligns with our philosophy.

Together, we've crafted wines that showcase extraordinary fruit, balanced winemaking, and a true sense of place.

Why Pine Mountain?

The inaugural JACE Cellars wines are sourced from the prestigious Pine Mountain-Cloverdale Peak AVA, one of Sonoma County's most distinctive mountain wine regions.

Located between 2,200 and 2,500 feet above sea level, these vineyards sit above the fog line where warm sunny days, cool mountain nights, and volcanic soils create wines of remarkable concentration, structure, and elegance.

The fruit grown here produces wines with depth and character while maintaining the balance and refinement that make them exceptional partners for food.

Like the friendships that inspired JACE, these mountain vineyards have been shaped over time, developing complexity, resilience, and a unique story worth sharing.

First Access for Our Wine Club Members

Monday, JACE Cellars wines is now part of the SoNapa experience.

Our Wine Club members will  enjoy these limited-production wines and experience the beginning of what we hope will become a long and exciting journey.

Coming Soon to the SoNapa Menu

While Wine Club members will enjoy exclusive early access, guests can expect to see JACE Cellars wines make their way onto our main wine list in the near future.

For us, this is much more than adding another wine to the menu.

It's the culmination of nearly twenty years spent building relationships in wine country, learning from some of the industry's best winemakers, and pursuing a dream that began around a table with friends.

When you order a glass of JACE, you're tasting more than wine.

You're tasting the character of Pine Mountain. You're tasting the craftsmanship of Doug Hackett. And you're tasting the culmination of a friendship that helped build SoNapa Grille.

A Toast to the Future

JACE Cellars represents everything we love about wine.

It tells a story. It creates connections. It brings people together.

As we launch this exciting new venture, we want to thank our guests, Wine Club members, team members, and friends who have supported us throughout the years. Your loyalty and friendship made this possible.

We invite you to raise a glass with us as we celebrate the beginning of a new chapter.

JACE Cellars: Friendship. Craftsmanship. Taste-Toast-Together.
