Join SoNapa Grille for our Five Course Summer Wine Dinner.  This dinner will feature exciting new wines and menu items we discovered on our recent trip to Napa Valley.  All proceeds from this dinner are being donated to The American Heart Association.  

Wine Dinner Menu

Course 1: Dungoness Crab Cake, fava bean succotach paired with Hill Family Sauvignon Blanc

Course 2:Carrot & Ginger BIsque paired with Hill Family Chardonnay, Napa Valley

Course 3:Wedge Salad with Point Reyes Bleu cheese & candied bacon, Paired with Hill Family Pinot Noir

Course 4: Kurobuta Pork Osso Buco with Smoked cheddar Yukon Gold Mashed potatoes, paired with Hill Family Barrel Blend.  

Course 5: Artisanal Cheese plate with bacon wrapped fig & fruit, paired with Hill Family

We love California wines and found this place.. I thought it was an Italian restaurant at first, but found that it's more of an all American selection.. As usual, we tried a new place to eat based on TripAdvisor reviews, and SoNapa Grille is outstanding! We shared the bacon-wrapped scallops appetizerm which was done to perfection (bacon just crunchy without over-cooking the scallop). For the main course, we had the Chilean Sea Bass special and the Blueberry Chipotle Baby Back Ribs. The sea bass was wonderful, but I have to rave over the ribs. The blueberry flavor was subtle and not overly sweet, and balanced the chipotle spice flavors very well. These were outstanding ribs, and so different from ribs had many other times at other places over the years. I highly recommend the blueberry chipotle ribs, if you are a ribs fan and want to try something to surprise your taste buds.
