What type of franchise is available?
SoNapa Grille offers you the opportunity to own and operate a SoNapa Grille restaurant franchise featuring predominately Sonoma County and Napa Valley wines as well as a full service bar, and chef inspired menu. SoNapa Grille is available for in-line retail locations or free standing buildings between 3700 and 6000 square feet necessary to feature a full service bar and with a relaxing environment featuring a combination of individual seating areas and table seating complemented by a wine cellar and/or a retail wine display.
How much will I need to invest?
The estimated initial investments to establish a SoNapa franchise will be between $349,500 to $562,200. This includes a franchise fee of $25,000, an initial inventory of between $15,000 to $35,000 as well as the leasehold improvements, equipment, signage, security deposits, three month’s rent, blue prints and permits, point of sale system, furnishings and working capital to open your wine bar.
Do you offer financing?
SoNapa does not offer any direct financing but can recommend some third party financing options for you. Equipment leases are very common in the industry and we can help you with lease providers. Also ask us about utilizing your retirement account tax free to fund you business.
How do I know if this is a good business for my area?
Our upscale but casual environment provides a friendly and welcoming home away from home that many clients stop by a couple of times a week to have a glass of wine and catch up with friends so our market is quite different from the traditional restaurant or bar market. SoNapa Grille enjoys a unique place in the hearts of our customers as a neighborhood meeting place to enjoy a great meal or relax for a glass of wine or cocktail.
What is the royalty fee?
The royalty fee covers the ongoing support services that you will receive as a SoNapa franchisee, as well as entitling you to the use of the SoNapa service marks, proprietary business system and marketing assistance. The royalty fee is a six percent of gross sales.
How much money can I make with a SoNapa franchise?
The Federal Trade Commission regulates what SoNapa is allowed to disclose to potential franchisees. As you proceed through the process of purchasing your SoNapa business, you will receive the Franchise Disclosure Document that details more about the business opportunity.
